This shows the use of a bungee "cargo net", attached to stainless eye straps, underneath the companionway stairs. This approach to utilizing this odd-shaped empty space, allows secure stowage of unusual shaped items, such as my 12vdc Shop-Vac, heavy-duty bag holding 16' jumper cables, and an extra spare gallon of distilled water for the batteries……and there's still plenty of room for a few other things.
