Those looking for an easy way to "clip-in" (attach their safety harness tethers) while in the cockpit, moving around in the cockpit, and coming up from below, or going down into the cabin
while offshore, with a big sea, etc.
Here's what I did
I added 6 stainless folding padeyes in the cockpit (and, not pictured, one on the mast as well). I used Wichard model 6504 in the cockpit (and one 6505 on the mast). I placed 2 at the companionway (one on each side), using the winch access panels in the aft cabin ceiling to gain access for securing the nyloc nuts and washers, on the inside.
I placed 2 on the cockpit table (one on each side).
And I placed 2 more by the helms (again, one on each side). The ones by the helms are placed down near the lazarette lid latches. Although at first this didn't seem the ideal location, but it allows for easy clip-in while sitting, and keeps your tether out of the way of the wheel, etc. while still keeping you attached. (and of course this location also allows easy access to the inside, to secure the nyloc nuts / washers.)
All 3 locations (all 6 padeyes) allow crew to move around safely and securely, and using a double tether allows you to clip-in on the next padeye, before unclipping the previous one, all while sitting down. I hope this gives others some ideas.
