This is a photo of the masthead plate I had Garhauer make to work with the AYSO furler. The halyard needs to be pushed out ahead of the mast to clear the top of the furler. This was made to replace the the plate that comes on the mast from Charleston Spar. I showed it to Charleston and they said it looked great! The holes line up with the u bolt holes for the 2 existing blocks and the extended plate allows for 2 additional bolts at the aft end. The strong back gives it the structural support and you can see the pre-drilled/tapped holes for the Raymarine masthead unit.
